She has provided many Drenched treatments for clients, but said receiving one was blissful. "Your skin feels soft and moisturised, but you just feel so relaxed and floaty," she said. "I can really recommend it." Megan said the Drenched treatment was particularly effective in winter. "Dry skin can be a problem in winter, but this treatment is just so nourishing and helps to keep skin feeling hydrated and smooth." • Endota Spa is at Mantra Kooindah Waters, Wyong. Bush herbs, river salt and desert lime shower gel are added to warm water, and the bathing begins. Endota Spa manager Megan Scheid said having the foot bath first helped to put clients at ease, and offered an opportunity to chat with their therapist. "Eucalyptus and mint are used for their antiseptic qualities, while the desert lime shower gel has a wonderful aroma," Megan said. After the feet are bathed, exfoliated and dried, a peppermint moisturising cream is applied. "Peppermint is very calming and helps to reduce stress," she said. Step 2: Body cleanse River salt and desert lime shower gel are applied over the entire body. "This is a luxurious treatment in itself, but it also helps to prepare the skin for exfoliation." Step 3: Honey exfoliation Australian honey is warmed then blended with essential oils such as olive and macadamia oil, and applied to the body. Mineral salts are then sprinkled onto the skin and gently massaged in for exfoliation. Honey is used because it is a humectant, which means it is able to absorb ambient water. The honey is said to aid in the hydration of the skin. The client then showers to remove the exfoliant. Step 4: Yoghurt cocoon Peppermint herbal tea is then added to organic yoghurt and applied as a luxurious all-over moisturiser, Megan said. After the yoghurt has been applied, the client is cocooned inside three layers comprising a sheet, towel and blanket. "The body's heat allows the yoghurt to be Step 5: Spa soak. The Drenched treatment concludes with an indulgent soak in the spa. COASTING BEAUTY infused by the skin," she said. "This part of the treatment takes about 20 minutes." While the cocoon works its magic, the client is treated to a scented, calming scalp massage. INDULGENT: Zoe enjoys a spa soak to conclude her two-hour Drenched treatment.
