COASTING PHOTO ESSAY 17 central coast • new south wales SHOW TIME: Stage manager Chris Cox gives the cast their 15-minute curtain call which sends a buzz of excitement through the building. Some cast members go through last-minute rehearsals of dialogue and dance steps, while others check their costumes. Director Kerrie Rochford offers her final words of encouragement. PREPARATION: Make-up assistant Gizelle Colbert-Smith gets to work on Darryl Kirkness (Pish-Tush). Cast members are required to arrive two hours before a performance. ORDERLY: The Gentlemen of Japan sing in formation as they await the arrival of the Lord High Executioner. Cast members range in age from 16 to 79.
