19 www.coastingtoday.com.au FUBAH manager Kirsty Heaney admits she can't lay claim to having created the Strawberry Ripe cocktail, but she has certainly made it her own at the popular ocean-front bar at Copacabana. "I actually first found this cocktail while in a bar in Labrador, Queensland," Kirsty said. "I suppose I was attracted by the strawberry and the chocolate -- and everybody loves chocolate, right?" Having tweaked the recipe a tad, Kirsty is proud to say that the Strawberry Ripe has become one of Fubah's biggest cocktail sellers. And provided that you have a blender at home, you could easily make one yourself. "It really tastes like a delicious, creamy, strawberry milkshake," Kirsty said. "I think that the coldness, and the ice, really gives it a nice chill and texture which people enjoy." Method Add ingredients to a blender and blend. Run chocolate topping around inside of a cocktail glass. Pour blended ingredients into glass.
