A8671630-7Jan COASTING PSYCHIC By DAVID STEWART in 2010 Flavia gives us her psychic snapshot of the year ahead for the Central Coast. CENTRAL Coast clairvoyant Flavia Ursino said astrological forces were at work pushing us to grow up and take more personal responsibility in 2010. "The world is currently ruled by an astrological transit of Pluto in Capricorn, and has been for the past 18 months or so," Flavia said. "Pluto is the 'wake up -- shake up' planet. It is the planet of transformation with the message 'change or break', she said. "And Capricorn is about finance, government and politics." On the world scene, these astrological factors have been most evident in the election of America's first black president, and the global financial crisis. Flavia says 2010 will be the year for the world to re-evaluate its relationship with money, to embrace a more spiritual approach to life and, hopefully get back to basics. On the Central Coast, Flavia predicts: • A win for farmers. "They will be banding together to counter the supermarket giants. We will all benefit if we work as a team." • Trouble in April. "April keeps flashing across my mind. But I am not shown why. Keep an eye out that month." • Floods and fires: "We'll have an even more mixed year than we've previously experienced." • Insects: "Insects and insect activities will get our attention." • Rivers: "There will be great concentration on our river system." • Pet problems: "There will be greater regulations on pets, and on pet owners, in general." • House prices: "Central Coast housing prices will decline and have a bumpy ride up." Flavia said we could all expect to feel the need for new beginnings in 2010, and a "restless desire" to shake off the old. Health and vitality would be a consideration for many of us, and some serious reassessments would be made about our work-life balance. "Families will become a higher priority, and some old-fashioned values will begin to seep into our collective consciousness," she said. TRANSFORMATION: Clairvoyant Flavia said astrological forces would continue to prompt us to change for the better, or break, in 2010. Picture by Aaron Brown.
