The Central Coast Mariners will host: North Queensland Fury on Saturday, January 9, at 7pm; Gold Coast United on Friday, January 22, at 8pm; and Newcastle Jets on Saturday, February 6, at 6pm. Races are scheduled for Wednesday, January 13; Thursday, January 21; Sunday, February 14; Thursday, February 25; and Tu esday, March 9. PEATS RIDGE: The Peats Ridge Sustainable Music and Arts Festival runs from December 29 to January 1. It’s billed as a feast for the senses, featuring music, arts and camping. Held in the heart of the magnificent Glenworth Valley, the family- friendly festival offers an international line-up of musicians, as well as swimming in beautiful water holes, riverside camping and environmental education. Check out the website www.peatsridgefestival.com .au . TROUPE: Internationally renowned theatre troupe, Le Carnaval Spirituel, performs free shows at Erina Fair shopping centre on January 2 and 3. The shows combine elements of theatre, dance and drama. COUNTRY MUSIC: Central Coast Country Music Festival is held from March 12 to 14 at venues across Wyong Shire, and on the outdoor stages at The Entrance. This is big! More than 45,000 visitors attended over the festival weekend in 2009.
