It's billed as a feast for the senses, featuring music, arts, culture and camping. It's family-friendly, too, and includes a range of events especially for children. Among the 200 artists to perform at the festival are star imports including the former front man for The Tea Party, Jeff Martin, of Canada, Telepathe, of the USA, and Mount Mocha Kilimanjaro, of Japan. The 2GO Carols by Candlelight will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium, in Gosford. The radio station's Sarah and Dwayne will host the event which boasts a bumper line-up of star performers including Hi-5, Jon Stevens and the Robertson Brothers. Santa will make an appearance, and don't miss the fireworks spectacular. The gates open at 5pm with the show to start at 6. The Copacabana Community Carols will be held on the same night, Tuesday, December 22, from 7pm, on the Copacabana foreshore. Copa locals Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson will be joined by Beccy Cole for what promises to be an extraordinary night of family entertainment. The Entrance Carols by Candlelight will be held in Memorial Park, The Entrance, on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24. Humphrey B Bear and his mate Leonardo de Cat (Garfield's cousin) will get the fun started with a meet and greet with young fans from 6.30pm. Santa and Tuggerah Lakes Show Band will take to centre stage for the start of carol singing at 7pm. Humphrey returns at 8pm for his show, which is followed by lots more carols, fun and games with Santa, and a closing fireworks display at 9.30pm. at The Entrance. Memorial Park, at The Entrance, will feature a strong police presence to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for families. Entertainment kicks off on two stages at 5.30pm and will include a kid's disco, local rock covers band Jellyfish (pictured), and vocal duo, Bella. The fireworks on the waterfront at 9.30pm are always a highlight.
