NEW Supa Seafood Raffle A8625171-1Oct Myer's exclusive styling tips for the spring racing season on the Central Coast. THE spring racing season comes to the Central Coast with the running of the Gosford Gold Cup on Wednesday, November 18. Spring racing is synonymous with spring fashions. And to celebrate the inaugural running of the prestigious Gosford Gold Cup in spring (the race has historically been run in autumn) Myer has come on board as sponsor of Myer Fashions on the Field. Mix it up Looking good at the track this spring is all about creating an individual look, Sharon Syme, of Myer Erina, said. "Create your own fashion reaction with vivid, bold colours all clashing together," she said. "Mix it up with bright orange and hot pink together, vivid blues, greens and corals." Dresses that are one-shoulder and strapless are a key look this season. "If bold is not your style, new innocence might be more you," Sharon said. "Soft tonal layering of ivories, whites and pale neutrals will give you that soft, romantic look." Classic colours Some colours and styles never go out of fashion at the track. "If classic is more your style, black and white is always a classic at the races," she said. "It's time to get that little black dress out and give it a new twist for the new- season look. "Pull your look together with a little clutch bag, shoes, hosiery, scarves, jewellery and, of course, your spring racing must-have hat or fascinator, whether it be matching or clashing. And don't forget you'll need a pair of sunnies to keep track of your winners."
